BCA Green Mark is a rating system developed by the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore in 2009 to evaluate the environmental impact of assets. This manual was first originated to evaluate buildings. Nowadays, it encompasses various projects types and among which there is one specific manual for infrastructure projects for creating green, innovative and sustainable of districts, and parks.
Public Agency- The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) is an agency under the Ministry of National Development.
To encourage developers and design teams to design and construct green, sustainable projects which are more climatic responsive, energy effective, resource efficient, smarter and have healthier indoor environments.

The assessment process involves specific areas of improvement to meet the environmental and sustainable development objectives that are relevant. The assessment includes design, documentation review and site verification to ascertain the extent of environmental friendliness of the infrastructure development. Depending on the point scoring, the project can be awarded one of the four Green Mark Rating • Platinum • Gold Plus • Gold • Certified.
