CEEQUAL Projects aims to assist in delivering improved sustainability performance and strategy of infrastructure projects. Projects are assessed by CEEQUAL-trained assessors across a range of management, environmental and social criteria, using the CEEQUAL Online Assessment Tool. Upon completion, each assessment gets externally verified by a CEEQUAL-appointed verifier and ratified by the Scheme Management Team.
CEEQUAL for Term Contracts has been specifically created for the sustainability assessment of civil engineering and public realm works that are undertaken through contracts over a number of years and in a geographical or operational area. The methodology has been amended to suit the way in which infrastructure contracts are conducted, managed and delivered. The tool intends to assure the strength of the contractor’s understanding of the client’s requirements, the teamwork generated amongst the parties, and the successful delivery of these requirements. The tool offers two question sets, one for maintenance works and one for new works, with two matching manuals and spreadsheets for capturing the scores and evidence. The assessments process is conducted by CEEQUAL-trained assessors and a CEEQUAL-appointed verifier in the first and the penultimate years of the contract with surveillance visits by the CEEQUAL verifier at least every year in between and in the final year before contract completion.
